THE DUO BEHIND THE BRAND

Jade + Ivy began as a dream we shared while working together in the healthcare industry as recreational therapists. We spent our time helping our patients find their passions and decided it was time to chase our own.

Our Vision:

We envision a future where our clients’ wedding planning experience is easy, fun, and authentic to their vision and personal values.

The Jade + Ivy Mission:

We help engaged couples plan meaningful, personalized wedding days by taking the logistical stress off their shoulders and providing thoughtful, attentive care—so they can be fully themselves, enjoy the journey, and look back with confidence that they made the right choices along the way.

Kayla

Kayla is a wife with three littles at home and co-owner of Jade + Ivy Events. She enjoys drinking coffee, baking, and spending time with her family when she’s not working as a recreational therapist in Des Moines. Kayla’s favorite part about weddings is watching the groom’s face change when he sees his bride walking down the aisle.  Kayla is here to turn your vision into the memorable celebration that you’ve been dreaming about.

OWNER AND LEAD PLANNER

Kenzie is a competitor at heart, loves women’s sports, coffee dates, early mornings, and anything that involves the design process. Kenzie is a health systems specialist by day and leads process improvement at a hospital in Des Moines. In her free time you can find her watching Fever basketball, the USWNT, designing our clients’ dream weddings, or playing pretend with her daughters. Her go to coffee order is an iced vanilla latte and her favorite color is red.
